            Shipping updates

Hey folks, I know I have mentioned that I have been having shipping woes, and I wanted to give you an update.

I had reached out the Sen. Duckworth's office about not getting mail, and they forwarded my complaint to the Postmaster General's office, and the Postmaster General's office called me! Talked to me at length, listened to my concerns and observations at the post office, and went in person to the post office to see what was going on. It took a bit, but slowly my mail service has been improving! So, that's great news! And, the packages I have been sending out are for the most part getting to their destinations. I have one outstanding package in customs limbo, but I am working on it. That leads me to my next shipping topic: customs and import taxes.

If you are ordering within the United States, I charge taxes based on that state's tax laws. If you are ordering from outside the United States, you will be charged a customs fee or import tax according to your country's regulations. I have updated "The Small Print" page with links for Australia, the UK, and the EU, since most of my international orders from those countries. If you are unsure about your country's customs rules and need help finding them, please let me know before ordering, and I will gladly help you figure it out. I understand that in some places these rules are not applied consistently, and I am sorry, but once I ship it out, it is out of my hands. Thanks for understanding.

Finally, shipping is still slower than under normal circumstances, so please be sure to give yourselves enough time if you are planning on ordering for the holidays.
