Hey friends,

Well, what I thought would be a short break from work was a longer one than expected, but I am finally back in the studio, and have started updating the website to allow ring orders to go through for made to order items, which is most of them.

For those of you who are new here, I make most of my jewelry to order, in other words, when you place an order, I look it over, check for notes from you, see if I have any questions, and than get to work on making your item. I do make jewelry to have in stock for shows, of course, and there are some pieces that it makes sense for me to have some made in advance, but for the most part, I like to make your piece of jewelry just for you when possible.

This bunion surgery was well worth it, but I still have many months of recovery ahead of me, and I think I was too optimistic about what that would mean. But, the good news is that I am healing well, the x-rays continue to look good, and as long as I do my PT, I will continue to heal and improve. It's rough though, and some days are still hard.

That said, I am really excited about getting back to work, finding a groove, and walking every day so that next month I am ready for Rhinebeck!
