Preparing for Rhinebeck, and shop updates

Preparing for Rhinebeck, and shop updates

As I am getting ready for Rhinebeck, and working on batches of rings, I sometimes  start to think of how I would improve an item, and although I need to get this batch done, a new version of a ring starts to come together.

A view from my bench-pin with batches of rings being polished for NYSW

The rings in question are the Yarn-Ring line. They are cute and stackable, and that will remain the same. But the band has often given me trouble behind the scenes (seriously, many of my changes to a design I like involve being able to produce them more consistently), and I am working on a new version that so far I am feeling very good about. (Hint, you can see a couple of prototypes in the image above.)

The original Yarn-Rings

Since they will look a bit different, it occurred to me that folks who are still working on their set for stacking will want them to match. So, I will keep the old style around as a special order as I transition to the new style. The gold rings will remain up, and I will add a special listing for the silver rings once I introduce the new style in early 2025. Prices will be going up on these at that point, so if you have been planning on having all three in silver, now is a great time!

Rhinebeck, AKA NYSW

I am excited to be back as part of Cooperative Press, my home at NYSW on October 19-20, 2024! We will be in Building C, booth 37. Come and check out independently published pattern books, and my jewelry. We look forward to seeing you soon!
