Stitches Midwest was great, now to prep for Rhinebeck!

Hi Friends! I had a great time vending at Stitches Midwest. I met so many people through the stitch marker swap, including fellow vendors. That's one of the best part of doing these shows; getting to spend time with the fiber community. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and to my terrific booth partner, Susie of Chiagu. And look at how many stitch markers I traded for! Today is the day! The Stitches Midwest vendor floor opens tonight from 5-8pm, and goes through Sunday. Chiagu and I will be in booth 921, and we both have stitch markers for the swap.    And don't forget, I have a coupon for your so you can save a bit for more shopping! See you this weekend!

Gearing up for Stitches Midwest!

Hi Everyone! I am back from a week-long trip to visit with family in the Catskills. Since I am participating in Tour de Fleece (Team Twisted Spinners), I took a couple of drop spindles with me, and I managed to spin a little bit  every day.  We came home to a broken A/C, which means my studio as well, so I spent our first couple of days back getting parts, and repairing the condenser.
