Hey folks, I am back after a great trip to Rhinebeck (New York State Sheep and Wool Festival)!
I sold all of the This Machine Kills Fascists necklaces I brought with me, and together we raised $375 for the National Immigrant Justice Center!
We're sticking with immigrant rights, and the next donation will go to the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. In the future, I will go back to donating to the National foundation, but as you might have heard, things are very scary here in Chicago for migrants, and frankly, for anyone out there trying to help. The ICIRR is doing a lot here, and I want to help. I have also signed up to volunteer, as a Spanish speaker I want to lend my services, and plan to be trained to hang out the at the courts to help asylum seekers and other migrants out.
Sorry, friends. Normally any post that starts with "Rhinebeck" goes straight to cute pictures of sheep, and autumnal beauty. Let's do that before we get into heavier stuff again, shall we?

Nice, right? The Hudson Valley in October never disappoints.
You know what does disappoint? The skyrocketing price of precious metals! Skyrocketing you say? Well, in the last couple of months, my silver costs have nearly doubled. Yeah, you read that right. I am obviously not doubling my prices, but I do have to increase them, and am in the process of doing that. I am only raising the price as much as I feel is necessary to continue to cover my costs, and you know, pay myself a wage. I have temporarily hidden the gold listings in the web-store until I figure out how much I need to adjust those prices, but I will have them back up in a few days.
